We, TRIGO ADR Germany GmbH, are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector (m/f/d) with strong focus on Source Inspection for the Aerospace industry. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections at supplier facilities across Europe, ensuring aerospace components and materials meet stringent quality standards, and comply with regulatory requirements before being delivered for production or final assembly. You will be a key player in maintaining the highest levels of quality throughout the supply chain. The focus of this role is on cabin, structure, and mechanical components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source Inspections: Conduct detailed inspections of aerospace components and materials at supplier facilities across Europe to ensure they meet technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation Verification: Review supplier documentation, including inspection reports, material certificates, and conformity documents, ensuring all records are accurate and complete in line with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, EN 9100).
- Inspection Methods: Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using precise measuring tools and equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges). Experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, such as ultrasonic or eddy current testing, is a plus.
- Supplier Liaison: Work closely with suppliers to communicate quality standards.
- Supplier Audits: Participate in supplier audits, inspections, and assessments to verify compliance with both internal standards and international aerospace regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, FAI).
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate records of inspection results, non-conformances, corrective actions, and compliance verification. Prepare and deliver detailed reports to management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure inspections comply with European aerospace regulations, including those set by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and that all parts meet the requirements for aerospace certification.
- Product Lifecycle Support: Assist in the evaluation of new parts and products, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, testing requirements, and safety standards during the product development phase.
REQIREMENTS:
- Technical or engineering degree (preferably in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or a related filed) is highly desirable.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Quality inspector in the aerospace or manufacturing industry, with a focus on source inspection and supplier quality assurance.
- (ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality management systems such as AS 9100, ISO 9001, and EN9100.
- Proficiency in using various measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, heigh gauges, etc.)
- Familiarity with aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and product specifications.
- Strong knowledge of European aerospace regulations and compliance standards.
- Fluent in German and English - reading and writing is required
- Fluency in multiple European languages (e.g., French, Spanish) is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for dealing with suppliers, management, and cross-functional teams in an international environment.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe. (Depending on supplier locations)
- Additional certification in Non-destructive Testing (NDT) are a plus.
